Kristine has helped me a great deal in the revision of my historical fiction manuscript set in 1930-40s China during the Japanese invasion. It contains a lot of cultural information about Chinese society and history. Kristine helped me see areas where Western readers may need more detailed information.

She helped me revise some dialogue to make it shorter and more realistic. She suggested I weave certain information into the exposition.

Kristine was also helpful in character development, suggesting revising some actions of the characters to make them more sympathetic. She recommended adding more tension in some of the scenes, which could make the reader more concerned about the plight of the characters and thus be more engaged.
