Finalize Editorial specializes in fiction editing–literary, historical, cultural, mystery, magical realism, gothic and contemporary–for adult, new adult (NA), and young adult (YA) authors. I also welcome editing creative nonfiction in the forms or memoir, personal essays, family histories, and anthologies.

My editing preferences in fiction and creative nonfiction is due to my belief that writing in these fortes is inherently creative, coming from deep within human imagination, based upon the intersection between imagination and eloquently told true stories. These styles of writing have always been my preference for reading, so once I became a full-time manuscript editor, my personal preferences helped me specialize in–and become an expert on–how these stories land with readers, your most important asset after your imagination.
